Haze Automotive is building smart “vehicle frames” using race-car material technology (carbon fiber) infused with special sensors. Haze Automotive’s patent-pending manufacturing process requires minimal labor resources, which leads to a 90% reduction in cost. The company has also lowered the price of carbon fiber by sourcing the material from converted bitumen. This material is significantly more sustainable than traditional carbon fiber.
