We are Boston CTA

The Canadian Technology Accelerator in Boston (Boston CTA) provides a high-intensity service incubator program that connects selected growth stage company clients to US customers, strategic partners, investors and a bespoke team of mentors. The goal is to help our Canadian clients succeed abroad, accelerate their business and help them gain a strategic advantage in a competitive marketplace. 

Our multisector CTA program is geared towards clients in the government’s high-level priority sectors, including information and communication technologies; healthcare – including biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics, digital health; advanced manufacturing; robotics; clean tech; and emerging agriculture, food and sports technologies.

Operated by the Consulate General of Canada in Boston, the program has assisted over 130 Canadian companies since its founding in 2013 with its unique business acceleration services.

The 6-8 month CTA provides selected companies with individualized team mentoring from the Canadian Mentoring Service, which comprises over 100 trained mentors; introductions to local industry leaders, investors, and other key resources; and office space at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA.

The Boston CTA was awarded 2016 Accelerator Program of the Year by the International Business Innovation Association.
